Welcoming Fall & Celebrating Our Community
The first couple of weeks have been great, and students are hitting a groove. Our focus this year is simple: ensuring active bell-to-bell engagement in every classroom, fostering daily attendance, and strengthening our school community connections. When our students are present, engaged, and supported from start to finish each day, fantastic progress follows.
Bulldog Bash: Wednesday, October 1st!
Mark your calendars for our annual Bulldog Bash on Wednesday, October 1st, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM across campus!
This year's theme is "Come See What You Made Possible!" Thanks to the support of our local community and the passage of our school bond, we invite families, alumni, and community members to tour our schools, inspect new construction design renderings and campus improvements, and celebrate what we have accomplished together.
Building Momentum: Attendance & Academic Growth
Regular school attendance remains one of the most reliable indicators of student success. Being in class on time every day helps students stay caught up, reduces academic stress, and builds habits that carry far beyond the classroom. We encourage parents to partner with us by maintaining consistent routines at home, checking in on progress, and keeping lines of communication open with teachers.
Shoutout to middle school math teachers Krystn Warnicke and Kasey Anderson for their remarkable student growth results in math. They hit high marks on growth, setting the stage for a year of continued improvement. For their success, they were awarded the 'On the Ball' traveling trophy for their hard work!
Cheering On Our Bulldogs
Fall sports and extracurricular activities are underway! From our dedicated student-athletes to our hard-working pep band and leadership teams, our students continue to represent Willamina with pride. We invite everyone to join us at upcoming home events to cheer on the orange and black! Please remember to uphold positive sportsmanship guidelines so our athletes and visitors enjoy a safe, respectful environment.
