Welcome Back to a New School Year!
We're thrilled to welcome back all of our students and families for the 2025-2026 school year! We've had a fantastic week of preparation and training, and our staff is excited to embark on a new year of learning and growth.
At our schools, we recognize that every member of our staff contributes to the positive experience of our students, from bus drivers and maintenance personnel to technology specialists, food service staff, office personnel, and instructional aides – every individual plays a vital role as a "teacher" in our students' lives. Our goal is for every student to have a trusted adult they can confide in on campus, and often, our dedicated support staff are the individuals who fill that role for our students. Research shows that students who have a trusted adult in their lives are more likely to have higher self-esteem and exhibit less risk-taking behavior.
The energy on campus is high as Fall sports get underway and our strong summer programs have concluded. We've been busy making improvements throughout the campus, and you'll begin to see the results of our bond projects. The main phase of the bond work is scheduled for next summer. We're also eagerly anticipating the completion of our reader board upgrade, which will become a more dynamic communication tool once its power connection is finalized and new software and hardware are fully implemented.
This time of year is always filled with hope, excitement, and high expectations. We believe in the power of a strong partnership between school and families and encourage you to be actively engaged in your student's education. Open communication is crucial for student success. We encourage you to communicate regularly with your school and teachers to ensure the best possible learning experience for your child. We look forward to a successful and enriching school year!
Ready to Roll,
Mike Gass, Superintendent
