Virginia Garcia and COVID-19

The Virginia Garcia School-Based Health Center located at Willamina High School will remain open. They will continue to see students and honor all currently scheduled appointments.

If your child is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 please do not bring them into the clinic, but instead call and request to speak with a provider about next steps for care.

The School Based Health Center is open to All Willamina School District students in partnership with Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center.

About the SBHC

The School Based Health center is staffed by the Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center with Nurse Practitioners who are qualified to assess, diagnose, provide treatment and prescribe medication. Walk-ins are welcome though appointments are encouraged. Most insurance is accepted, and there is a sliding fee scale for those without insurance. If your child is 15 and older you can complete the Consent for Care, insurance information and family history then your child can schedule services themselves.

Services

Oregon Health Plan

Able to help apply to OHP and change counties if you have moved. Bring in the following information with you: SSI number for all the applicants, W2, last 3 months pay stubs, information of any other insurance coverage, proof of current address.

Health Assessments/ Physical Examinations

Routine physicals and health appraisals, sports and employment physicals, blood pressure screenings.
