Starting Monday, May 4th, construction activity will increase on campus as part of our 2024 Bond Project. To keep everyone safe, the entrance in front of the Elementary pickup/drop-off area and the main High School entrance will be fenced off and inaccessible.
We know this is a significant shift, and we appreciate your patience as we make these necessary improvements to our schools!
Elementary School Changes
The pickup and drop-off flow will look very similar to the current routine, with a few key differences:
Student Entry: Students will enter the building through exterior classroom doors rather than the side entrance.
Parent Entry: The main entrance for parents will be located in front of the bus drop-off zone.
High School Changes
The High School entry will look quite different during this phase:
New Main Entrance: Parents and visitors must now use the door located across from the CTE building, next to the grassy courtyard behind the High School Office.
On-Site Help: A staff member will be stationed at this new entry point during the school day to assist parents and visitors.
Please refer to the attached map to see the new pedestrian path.
Once school gets out for students, there may be some other changes that we will communicate to you.
We understand that navigating these changes can be confusing at first. To help make this transition as smooth as possible, we are providing:
Extra Signage: Directional signs will be posted throughout the campus.
Extra Staffing: Additional staff will be outside during pickup and drop-off times all next week to help guide you.
Thank you for your continued support and flexibility as this process progresses.
