Winding Down and Gearing Up: Final Push and Campus Changes

The school year is rapidly drawing to a close, and we are entering the final, exhilarating month!  Students across all grades are engaged in their final academic push, demonstrating impressive commitment as they finish strong.

Celebrating Student Success

We are so proud of the academic success our students have achieved this year, a clear testament to their dedication to improvement.  This commitment was recently highlighted by the induction of new members into the Junior National Honor Society at the middle school level.

Our students are currently tackling the rigorous Oregon State Testing, and we want to commend them for the great maturity and seriousness with which they have approached these assessments this year.

Key Dates and Important Campus Updates

Please remember that Monday, May 4th, is a no-school day for students.

When students and families return on Tuesday, May 5th, you will notice significant changes to our campus layout as we begin preparations for our exciting construction projects:

WES (Elementary School): The original Main Entrance is changing to the Bus Lane Entrance.  There will be minimal change for students, but visitors must follow new signage.

High School/Main Office: The entrance is moving from the front to the rear of the building.  Visitors must follow designated signage around the campus.

This temporary disruption is necessary to ensure our new main entrances are ready and fully operational by August, when families return for the new school year.  We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we navigate these changes.

Construction Timeline

While the new entrances will be ready this summer, our classroom addition project will take a bit longer, with a projected completion timeline of Spring 2027.

We have been profoundly moved by the commitment of our local partners and the generous donations of materials being generated.  This community support is vital, allowing us to stretch our budget and maximize the benefits for our students.

Future Students Welcome!

We are also gearing up to welcome our newest group of students!  We are currently planning our annual Kindergarten Registration and Preschool Transition meetings.  If you require any information regarding registration or transition meetings, please contact the office immediately.
