Administrative Positions:
Interim Director of District Special Education - The Director of Secondary Special Education oversees and supervises educational resource classrooms,
self-contained special education classrooms, a transition center for young adults, ESY, psychological and assessment services, behavioral resource services, and speech pathologists. The Director collaborates with teachers, specialists, and administrators to develop educational plans and programs that support the needs
of all learners and build relationships with students and their families. The Director may also partner with community agencies and may participate in state and local committees. The Interim Director of District Special Education is also a member of the Willamina School District’s leadership team. The Director works collaboratively with the team to advance the Willamina Educational Vision.

Specialist Positions:
MS/HS TAPP (Tribal Attendance Promising Practices) Family Advocate - Willamina School District is seeking a MS/HS TAPP (Tribal Attendance Promising Practices) Family Advocate. This position is a critical role dedicated to breaking down barriers to poor attendance and improving success for Native American/Indigenous students attending our middle and high schools. This position requires a strong commitment to partner with the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, cultural awareness and sensitivity, community engagement and student well-being. This will be a full-time 10 -month position, 179 days, with additional days added if necessary. In addition to the TAPP duties, there will be some grant duties as well for Title VI and data tracking for Impact Aid (Grant). Other duties as assigned.
Qualification- This is a classified position depending on qualifications. Applicants with a related degree will be considered for the certified salary schedule, calendar and days
