Elevating Student Voice in Our Community
We have been actively collaborating with local agencies and service organizations to integrate student representation into civic meetings. Creating genuine opportunities for student voice ensures our young leaders are directly connected to the community they live in.
Willamina Library Board: The board has officially designated a dedicated seat for a student representative to serve as an active voice for local youth.
Kiwanis & Chamber of Commerce: Both organizations have added a regular "Student Voice" item to their meeting agendas, providing a consistent platform for our young adults to share updates and insights directly with local leaders.

Highlights: Learn about the wide range of services available to students and families across the region, and join us for guided tours of our school facilities.

Bond Construction & Grant Funding News
Phase Two of our bond work is making excellent progress and is nearing the "dry in" phase. Reaching this milestone ahead of winter weather guarantees a smooth construction process throughout the fall while preserving and protecting the beautiful exposed wood features that will be showcased in the new facility addition.
We also continue to aggressively pursue grant funding and strategic partnerships to offset programming costs and expand career-technical education:
Spirit Mountain Community Fund: Willamina School District was recently awarded a generous grant to purchase equipment and support startup costs for our expanding Culinary Program.
Straight A Honor Roll: Spirit Mountain Casino hosted our student honorees for a celebration lunch at Amore. Willamina High School had multiple students recognized for the second time since this initiative launched.
We deeply appreciate these community partnerships as we prepare our young people for future workforce and higher education opportunities.
Athletics & Bulldog Spirit
Please come out to support our student-athletes this season! We are seeing our highest participation numbers in recent years. Our varsity teams are performing at a highly competitive level and creating fantastic excitement across our courts and fields.
Safety Awareness: E-Bikes on Campus
With every new school year comes new trends, and this fall we are seeing a significant increase in students riding electric bikes (E-Bikes) to school.
If your student rides an E-Bike, please take time to review safety guidelines with them:
Helmets Required: Always ensure your child wears a properly fitted helmet.
Know the Laws: E-Bikes are subject to specific age requirements, operational rules, and traffic regulations depending on motor size and classification.
