Summer School 2017

Willamina School District Summer School

June 19th - July 27th
 (No School July 4)
 8:00am to 12:00pm  
 Monday - Thursday

High School 
Registration: June 19th 3:30p-5:30p
Courses are online only.

Middle/Elementary School 
Registration: June 19th 8a - 12p
Lunch will be provided daily. 
You will be required to provide transportation.  


$100 per elementary student.
$100 per middle/high school ½ credit course.
Family Discount: $100 first student, $75 second student, $50 additional students.  Make checks out to Willamina School District.

 is selling surplus 
iPad 2's for $50 each.


Specifics: iPad 2, 16GB, Wifi only, come with: power adapter, power cable and case.

These iPads are in “as is” condition. Returns will not be accepted, and the school district cannot provide support.  Purchases can be made at the high school office until sold out or by June 12th.

RFP Complete Facility Assessment

Willamina School District is seeking a contractor to perform a Complete Facility Assessment of All Buildings, ten buildings total, on the Willamina School District Campus to create a long-range facility plan.  The Assessment will include inspection and assessments of structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, technology, safety and security of each building.

All work products of the contractor will need to meet the requirements set forth in OAR 581-027-0005 through 0050.  A long-range planning report will be provided upon completion of all assessments.

May 27th, Senior Grad Night Trip

ITINERARY

5:30-5:45 p.m.
Meet at WHS front doors. All Grad’s & Chaperones will meet at Willamina High School. All will board the bus shortly after and travel to our destination.
6:00 p.m.
Depart on time. We have a schedule we must follow for this night to be a fun experience for all!

4:00 a.m.
After enjoying our night we will arrive back at Willamina from our trip.

PLEASE RETURN THE PERMISSION SLIP TO THE HIGH SCHOOL OFFICE NO LATER THAN MAY 19th.


* This trip is a drug, alcohol & tobacco free activity, all students will be searched for any contraband (drugs / alcohol / tobacco / weapons) and if found, they will forfeit the right to attend the trip.
* Only students who have earned a diploma are eligible to participate in the grad night activities.
* Written parental permission will be required for every student attending regardless of their age.
* Grads will not be allowed to bring any type of drinks or water bottle with them. Snacks & drinks will be provided during the evenings events.
* Grads will have access to a sports court, pool, and other fun activities. Please bring appropriate swimwear, towel, and clothing.

WHS FFA Plant Sale
At the High School Greenhouse behind the middle school, 8am until sold out.  Hanging Baskets, tomatoes, peppers, flowers.  All proceeds go to greenhouse.

Register for Kindergarten, Thursday April 20th 3:30 - 6pm at Willamina Elementary School
Come Register for fall classes, get information about immunization and classroom expectations, sign-up for Kindergarten Transition Camp in August, and meet the kindergarten teachers. Children must be 5yrs by September 1, 2017. Registration packets will be available at the office. To Complete registration you will need: Child’s Immunization records. Child’s Birth Certificate. Proof of Address.
