On Saturday March 12, The Oregon Department of Education and Oregon Daiy Council presented Willamina Elementary School with the 2011 Oregon Wellness Award for implementation of the district's wellness policy. This award includes a plaque, banner and $2,500. A detailed media release and plans for an all-school celebratory assembly are being developed and will be coming soon.
